Grant Enfinger qualified for the Prairie Meadows 150 in 10th but quickly made his way up to 6th. Crew Chief, Kelly Kovski chose to bring the No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite, American Hammered Ford Fusion for a pit stop twice throughout the race. Grant Enfinger came down pit road with his RoushYates powered #90 Ford Fusion to the attention of his crew. The crew had an awesome pit stop. Sunoco fuel, four Hoosier tires and adjustments were made to the Motor Honey/Casite Ford. For the second yellow flag pit stop, Kovski called out the changes, and the pit crew went to work with four Hoosier tires, Sunoco gas and chassis adjustments. Team BCR’s pit crew was the fastest out there and sent Grant Enfinger out to line up in the 2nd position, gaining four spots.

Competition started with Boat in the No. 84 car after this pit stop, but Enfinger strategically made his way around and led for 30 laps. The No. 90 Ford Fusion was a little tight in the middle of the corner throughout the race, which helped the No. 84 car pass Enfinger once again to take the lead. By lap 124, Rookie driver, Kyle Weatherman came flying past Boat and Enfinger to take the lead.

Grant Enfinger began to follow Weatherman’s tracks, running on the high line of the track. This helped Grant Enfinger pick up a tremendous amount of time. The question was, how would Enfinger regain the lead with Weatherman running the same line? When just six laps remained, Weatherman brushed the wall, giving Enfinger the leeway to pass right by and take the lead to the end.

NASCAR/ARCA Driver, Grant Enfinger commented on the day, “We made a ton of changes during practice and qualifying but we knew we had a great car going into the race. I knew [Chad] Boat had one of the fastest cars out there but I was able to make my way around him. Weatherman actually taught me a little bit in order to make my lap times almost seconds faster. Our pit crew was amazing this weekend as well, helping me gain four positions in one pit stop. I can’t thank Howard Bixman for all he does along with everyone at Team BCR enough for helping me achieve my second win this season. I can’t put into words how strong these cars are at Team BCR. This is the best equipment I’ve ever driven and this second victory shows that.”

“I knew we had the most competitive car out there, especially having Grant Enfinger at the wheel,” says Team Manager/Crew Chief, Howard Bixman. “This is the car we took to Victory Lane earlier this year in Mobile with Grant. This was the first 105″ wheel base car in ARCA history to ever go to victory lane. I really want to thank Kelly Kovski for coming this weekend and doing a great job calling the race. One of the hardest things to do is come to the track knowing very little about the car, when it was prepared back in Team BCR’s shop in NC.”

Bixman also mentioned, “We couldn’t have even run this race without the help from our Marketing Partners. Primary Marketing Partner, Motor Honey/Casite has tremendously supported Team BCR and Grant Enfinger this season and we cannot thank them enough. When we learned American Hammered would be on board this race, we could not have been happier.”

Bixman comments on his team’s dedication, “I have to say we’re not a big team or a big named team. We’re the guys at the far end of the garage. But I will say this, our crew has the drive, heart and that “never give up” attitude. I’m very proud of this team and Grant for all their dedication and effort. This second victory proves the depth of this whole organization. We’ve all been working long hours to get this car ready for another win. We can’t wait to get back to the track and put ourselves in position for a win. I would again like to thank all our partners for their support, and remember Motor Honey along with the complete line of Casite products are available at retailers like Advance Auto Parts, Autozone and other national retailers, please support them!”
