Mark Martin Dirt Late Model Team Formed With Scott Bloomquist and Jared Landers

Scott Bloomquist Mark Martin Dirt Late Model Team FormedtScott Bloomquist partners with Mark Martin Dirt Late Model Team for the 2015 season. The team will field a two car racing team following the Lucas Oil Late Model Championship schedule.

The cars driven by Scott Bloomquist and Jared Landers will both feature Batesville, Ark. based Mark Martin Automotive Group as the title sponsor.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to team Jared up with Scott Bloomquist this season,” said Martin, who raced on dirt tracks in the years before signing to a racing team in NASCAR’s top series in 1988.

Mark Martin drove his final NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November 2013.

Scott is the master of racing dirt models, and anytime you can team with someone of that caliber, you can rest assured it will have a great impact on your program.

Mark Martin not at age 56 won 40 races in 882 starts in the top level of the  NASCAR Racing ladder. He also finished runner-up in series standings a record five times.

Scott Bloomquist is arguably the most successful dirt late model driver ever. Bloomquist has recorded some 550 feature wins, having won in 36 percent of his 1,411 short-track starts. Bloomquist joins the Mark Martin Dirt Late Model Team in 2015.
