F1 Driver Jules Bianchi Dead At Age 25F1 driver Jules Bianchi dead at age 25 after crash on October 5th, 2014. The Marussia F1 Team ( no longer in existence ) driver was involved in a crash in a yellow safety zone at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan.

Another car had crashed into the barriers and safety workers were then using a crane to pull the car from under the tire wall. Drivers running past this section of track were requested to slow down via the yellow flags.

However, Jules Bianchi’s car went off track and slid into the crane. The caused a head impact to the machinery.

Jules Bianchi was in a resting coma until tonight. He was pronounced dead at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) in Nice, (France).

This just days after his father said he doesn’t see any progress being made after the crash.

It is with deep sadness that the parents of Jules Bianchi, Philippe and Christine, his brother Tom and sister Mélanie, wish to make it known that Jules passed away last night at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) in Nice, (France) where he was admitted following the accident of 5th October 2014 at Suzuka Circuit during the Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix.

“Jules fought right to the very end, as he always did, but today his battle came to an end,” said the Bianchi family. “The pain we feel is immense and indescribable. We wish to thank the medical staff at Nice’s CHU who looked after him with love and dedication. We also thank the staff of the General Medical Center in the Mie Prefecture (Japan) who looked after Jules immediately after the accident, as well as all the other doctors who have been involved with his care over the past months.

“Furthermore, we thank Jules’ colleagues, friends, fans and everyone who has demonstrated their affection for him over these past months, which gave us great strength and helped us deal with such difficult times. Listening to and reading the many messages made us realise just how much Jules had touched the hearts and minds of so many people all over the world.

“We would like to ask that our privacy is respected during this difficult time, while we try to come to terms with the loss of Jules.”

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que les parents de Jules Bianchi, Philippe et Christine, son frère Tom et sa
soeur Mélanie, tiennent à annoncer le décès de Jules survenu hier soir au Centre Hospitalier Universitaire
de Nice, en France, où il avait été admis à la suite de son accident sur le circuit de Suzuka, lors du Grand
Prix du Japon le 5 octobre 2014.

« Jules s’est battu jusqu’au bout, comme il l’a toujours fait, mais hier, sa bataille a pris fin », a déclaré la
famille Bianchi. « Nous ressentons, dit-elle, une peine immense et indescriptible. Nous voulons remercier
le personnel médical du CHU de Nice, qui l’a soigné avec amour et dévouement.

« Nous voulons également remercier le personnel du Centre Médical Général de Mie au Japon qui a pris
soin de Jules immédiatement après son accident, tout autant que tous les autres médecins qui se sont
impliqués dans le combat qu’il a mené au cours des mois passés.

« De même, nous souhaitons remercier les collègues de Jules, ses amis, ses supporters et tous ceux qui lui
ont prouvé leur affection au cours de cette période. Ils nous ont donné la force nécessaire pour résister
dans ces moments terribles. Les écouter, lire leurs très nombreux messages nous ont montré comment
Jules avait suscité une affection si profonde auprès de tant de personnes de par le monde.

«Nous vous demandons de respecter notre intimité durant ces heures très difficiles, au cours desquelles
nous essayons d’affronter la perte de Jules.
