Stewart-Haas Racing will Announce the Replacement Driver before Daytona Practice
Tony Stewart injured his back in an ATV accident a little over a week ago. He will miss the start of his final NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.
Stewart-Haas Racing is yet to announce who will be the fill in driver for the injured Tony Stewart. Mike Arning said the SHR did not expect to make an announcement about Stewart’s replacement in the #14 before Wednesday
Practice at Daytona International Speedway begins this Saturday morning. The team has stated they will have a new Stewart-Haas Racing driver announced by Saturday practice.
ESPN reporter Bob Pockrass said via twitter that he was told by Stewart-Haas Racing employee Brett Frood that the team plans to make the announcement on Friday.
