2017 Chili Bowl Entry List – New Record Set

2017 Chili Bowl Entry List – Qualifying Nights Set

View the current 2017 Chili Bowl Nationals entry list below.

The current number of dirt midget cars is 365, a record. However, that number is expected to rise even higher through the week.

TULSA, Okla. – The first round of Qualifying Nights for the 2017 Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire have been released.

An event where there is no such thing as an easy night, the list of entries stands at 365 spread across four nights of qualifying from January 10-13 with only 24 A-Feature spots open for the January 14 finale.

2017 Chili Bowl Drivers List - New Record Set

Of the 365 entries, 19 still remain open with those spoken for bringing 70 Chili Bowl Rookies and 57 former A-Feature starters along with seven Chili Bowl Champions.

The list of drivers will be updated several times before the drop of the first green flag.

NASCAR drivers currently entered include: J.J. Yeley, Justin Allgaier, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell and former race winner Rico Abreu.(12-28-2016)

Two weeks after Christmas, the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals arrives like a gift from Santa Claus. In the Oklahoma metropolis of Tulsa, “Santa” is Emmett Hahn and Lanny Edwards, organizers of the four-night race meet since its 1987 inception.

Initially sponsored by the Chili Bowl food company of Bob Berryhill, these Nationals are known simply as The Chili Bowl: racing’s winter answer to football’s Super Bowl.

It accommodates over two hundred race rigs, bleachers for thousands of people and an ever-growing trade show. To stroll the aisles of Tulsa’s QuikTrip Center, the home of The Golden Driller, is to rub shoulders with champions from across America.

The first night of racing action at the Tulsa Expo Raceway is just days away. It all begins January 10th.
