2017 Kentucky Speedway Qualifying Results – Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series
NASCAR is racing the rain tonight at Kentucky Speedway. Weather is in the area. Storm clouds approuch at Qualifying gets underway.

Round 1
Kyle Larson failed pre-race inspection. He didn’t a chance to turn a lap in qualifying. Larson will start dead last at Kentucky Speedway.
Round 2
Dale Earnhardt Jr will start 13th. He stated, “I’m thrilled with this result.”
He explains that the team didn’t get a chance to work on a qualifying setup in practice. He threw in the setup fro his teammate and hoped for the best.
Brad Keselowski knocked Dale Jr in round 2 after a late session run.
Round 3
Lightning strikes. Just like that, qualifying is over. The times from round 2 will set the pole.
Kyle Busch will start from the pole. “KY” as he says.

Kyle Busch will now start on pole twice. He claimed the pole in both the Xfinity and MENCS event this weekend.
