Kenny Wallace has a message for the NASCAR attendance trolls

Kenny Wallace talks about the NASCAR bashers

They are everywhere. You don’t have to look very far to see what we’re talking about. They hide out behind their keyboards and wait for a NASCAR post, then they pull out their keyboards to strike.

Nearly, every NASCAR post… You see someone down in the comment section poking fun at the lack of attendance at NASCAR events.

“I love the fans,” Kenny Wallace takes his position via the SiriusXM radio show The Late Shift. “The fans are the ones that love to come to the races and they love racing.”

“But sometimes, I think they bitch and moan so much that they kinda get used to bitchin’ and moanin’.

“It’s like the people that go, ‘Look at them stands.’ or ‘There’s nobody in there.’ and then they tweet it to me.”

“I go, ‘That’s because you’re not there.’ ”

“You know, if you’re gunna bitch about the stands being empty. Where are you? ‘Well, I’m at home because I can’t afford it.’ Ok then, don’t say anything.”

You can still be a fan. It’s not a requirement for you to view races in person. As NASCAR fans, we are blessed enough to have weekly coverage.

Nearly, daily. At least between between Friday-Sunday. Half the week, you can be at the race track, right from your living room or from your shitter. With the right app, NASCAR is mobile.

I don’t understand these people that poke fun on the lack of attendance. And, they are everywhere. An army of trolls, hiding out under their tiny troll bridges, trolling devices in hand.

If you didn’t watch, you’re not a fan. If you’re not a fan, why are you even caring to comment on the attendance of a sport you don’t watch?

Most sports are down. Nearly all of them. In fact, I only know of one anomaly to the current state of sporting in America, that’s the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

But, we heard you the first ten times you told the facebook world you were, ‘Done with NASCAR.’ I guess you’re waiting for a wave? Here’s your wave…
