“Safety is paramount, and it’s something we work hard at all year long, from the season-opening [safety-worker] summit to intensive weekly reviews of every incident response to continual training for crews.”

Where did this coming from?

Kevin Harvick: “The one thing I will say about the ambulances this year… Is we have had a lot of issues,” stated Kevin Harvick.

“Ambulances getting lost. Ambulances being late to the scene of the wreck. Not getting dispatched fast enough. Stopping on pit road.”

Matt Kenseth: “I think it was actually the spring Richmond race. I was driving around the infield for about five minutes with him. He was lost and couldn’t find the care center.”

“So thankfully I wasn’t bleeding to death. Then the other one I think is after California or something like that. He drove so recklessly, it threw me right off the bench and I almost hit my head in the ambulance. So, yeah, there’s been a couple instances this year actually.”
