Ryan Blaney speaks on Kevin Harvick conversation

Ryan Blaney on Kevin Harvick: “He gave me a little shot and I gave him one back.”

Ryan Blaney hosts a weekly podcast, supported by NASCAR. This week, he did the show live from the SEMA floor.

Kevin Havick and Ryan Blaney were involved in some hard short track racing at Martinsville Speedway. In the course of that there was some, ‘cheap shots, the brake checks and the hittin’ down the straight-away’ according to Kevin Harvick.

After the Martinsville race, Kevin Harvick and Ryan Blaney had a little conversation. The conversation ended with a little shot, from each, as they walked away from each other. Needless to say that was a talking point in the show.

“We’re in the NASCAR booth and we got people lookin’ at us. It’s very awkward,” Ryan Blaney states via ‘The Glass Case of Emotion’ podcast.

“Yeah, there was a lot of them going on,” Ryan Blaney refers to the wide range of post race shenanigans.

“Yeah, me and Kevin had a discussion. We just talked about our day and what our dinner was gunna be later that day.”

So what was he having for dinner? “A knuckle sandwich,” Blaney says with a laugh.

“We ran into each other a little bit during the race. We had a talk about it. He gave me a little shot and I gave him one back.”

“So, we’re all good now. We kinda resolved our issues, that part’s easy to get over,” Blaney concludes on the Kevin Harvick incident.

‘The Glass Case of Emotion’ podcast just set a milestone. Collectively, the show has reached 1 million listeners. The show is on episode 36. That’s about 27,777 listeners per episode and that’s not using Denny Hamlin math.

“We’ll just get naked when we get to 2 million, I guess,” Ryan Blaney comments on the achievement.
