Race Team Alliance seeks executive director

The Race Team Alliance is hiring

The Race Team Alliance was formed in 2014. The group now represents 14 NASCAR team organizations.

In total, 30 cars in the field are fielded by team of the RTA. That’s 75% of the field.

The goal of the group is simple. It simply helps to, “collectively preserve, promote and grow the sport of stock car racing and thereby advance the long term interests of the racing teams.”

Now, the organization is seeking a full-time operator. The group has grown, now chairman Robert I. Kauffman has detailed that the group needs someone there to run the day-to-day operations.

“It’s a real initiative that we’re discussing with the board and members, and I think it has a lot of merit,” Robert Kauffman told the sports business journal. “It just reflects the maturing of the team association that it serves a useful purpose and hopefully more useful over time.”

The group does more than put all the discussion in one place. It’s beyond, collectedly moving the sport.

The Race Team Alliance also provides a point of contact from entities outside the group. If an individual or company needs to collectively speak to NASCAR teams, as a whole. They do that through the Race Team Alliance. It’s not limited to business opportunities.
