Kasey Kahne 2018 paint scheme: Procore – Lightning McQueen font used on #95 for 2018

Hours ago at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Leavine Family Racing released their 2018 race car. Kasey Kahne and Bob Leavine pulled the cover off the new machine.

To date, the team has had 8 different drivers pilot their race car. In 2017, the team went full-time racing, for the first time.

In 2018, Kasey Kahne will pilot the new Chevrolet Camaro. Procore has filled the role as primary sponsor for the #95 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series team.

“I’m looking forward to working with Leavine. I spent a little bit of time at the shop. The guys are doing an unbelievable job, already. I feel like we’re in a really good spot,” Kasey Kahne stated at the NASCAR Hall of Fame release.

“I’m looking forward to that. I’ve been doing this a long time. I feel like I’ve learned a lot, on the track and off the track.”

“I think it all comes down to the guys and just going in with a great mindset. That we can do it and we can, you know, figure it out. I can’t wait to get started on it.”

“He is the man at LFR,” Bob Leavine refers to his new driver.

“I think it’s going to pick up his confidence. After he won Indy, you could see the confidence in Kasey. That’s what I’m looking for.”

“Since building our team, it’s been baby steps. This is probably the biggest step we’ve taken. We’ve been fortunate to really acquire some good people in the shop from other teams, larger than us.”

Leavine Family Racing has the same number for 2018. However, the font has been changed. It’s the same font and same number of Lightning McQueen, from Disney’s Cars franchise.

“It was really important to turning the page and turning the chapter on LFR,” Jeremy Lange, VP of Operations at Leavine Family Racing explains the change in the number font.

“The number’s a little more edgy. A little more sharp and clean.”

Procore has signed a 2 year deal with Leavine Family Racing.

“Our business in Texas has been using Procore for 4 years,” team owner Bob Leavine states of the new primary sponsor.

“They just have a broad category of services. It really fits in, for lack of a better term, blue collar people, that I think NASCAR appeals to.”

Travis Mack – 2018 Camaro

Travis Mack will head the crew chief roll for Kasey Kahne. Mack, joined LFR after working for Hendrick Motorsports in previous season. He played a role in the development of the 2018 Camaro.

“This car is really engineering driven. It’s got a lot of COT runs. We haven’t had it on the race track yet to prove what it can do. But, in the computer, it’s amazing,” Mack states of the new NASCAR Camaro.”

“We’ve got a Las Vegas test in January that we’re really excited about.”
