Jeffrey Earnhardt has new opportunities for 2018
Jeffrey Earnhardt drove for Circle Sport – The Motorsports Group during the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. The team had funding from Hulu, a new entrant to NASCAR sponsorship. The team went on to finish 37th in owner standings.
Back in December, The Motorsports Group announced a separation from Circle Sport. That was a decision that came from Circle Sport owner, Joe Falk.

The shuffle leaves Jeffrey Earnhardt without a ride for 2018. Jeffrey ran 34 of the 36 races for the team in the previous season.
Yesterday, an update was posted by the Jeffrey Earnhardt social media channels. The crew took to answering the common question.

“As you all know, there are limited Cup seats available since the 33 team gave their December surprise to Jeffrey and brought their charter to another team.”

In the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season, Earnhardt had a best finish of 26th. He claimed that position three times. The first one came in the Daytona 500. The other, he finished 26th at Dover International Speedway. He then did it again at Kansas Speedway.
