Fastrak announces new region – Asks fans to name it

FASTRAK calls on fans to name new Kentucky region

In December, FASTRAK welcomed the newest weekly sanctioned track, 201 Speedway located in Sitka, KY. FASTRAK management has made the decision to form a new region with sights on growing the Chevrolet Performance Late Model class in Kentucky and the surrounding area.

As the class grows, FASTRAK will launch a regional series in the area. The new region will begin with 201 Speedway. With the new region being born, FASTRAK is looking to fans to name the new region.

FASTRAK will launch a “Name the Region” post on the
FASTRAK Racing Series Facebook page. Fans will comment with their ideas for the new region’s name. FASTRAK staff will then review the entries and decide on a winner from the comments. The post will go live Monday afternoon on the FASTRAK Racing Series page.

“This is a chance to engage our fans and teams to make them a part in growing the Chevrolet Performance Late Model class in the area,” said FASTRAK General Manager DJ Irvine, “Being from Kentucky, I am truly excited to see what the fans come up with as we grow this region.”

Once the region is named, a new website and Facebook page will be launched. In the meantime, all news related to 201 Speedway will appear on the FASTRAK MOV Facebook page and website.

Members in the new region will be eligible for the National Weekly Championship which pays out $10,000 to win. They will also be eligible for the Divisional Championship and any teenagers can compete for the Future Stars Cup.
