Future Stars Cup pays $1,250 to top teenager with their best 20 finishes
In opening a new region with 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY, FASTRAK will also introduce the Future Stars Cup for drivers competing in the region. FASTRAK strives to shine a spotlight on young, up and coming drivers in Chevrolet Performance Late Models.
The Future Stars Cup pays $1,250 to top teenager with their best 20 finishes. A driver must be a FASTRAK member and a teenager when the season begins.
“The Future Stars Cup creates a unique story line throughout the season, focusing on the young talent throughout FASTRAK,” said FASTRAK General Manager DJ Irvine, “Drivers like Jonathan Davenport came up through FASTRAK, and these young drivers could easily become the next big name in our sport. The Future Stars Cup gives them the recognition they deserve.”
While the driver must be a teenager when the season begins, they can turn 20 years old during the season and remain eligible. Once a driver has won the Future Stars Cup, they can not be eligible again. In this new region, drivers will only be competing against others in their division. The FASTRAK Southeast and FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Valley each have their own Future Stars Cup.
