Golden Isles Speedway photos from the first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series practice
Last nights test was a day ahead of the opening round for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. While the test wasn’t sanctioned, it’s basically a LOLMDS test. However, all the scheduled regulars were not in attendance.

Tonight, the season gets underway. The first green flag of the season drops on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Golden Isles Speedway hosts the opening round in Waynesville, Georgia.
The February 2nd main event will feature 50 laps and a payout to the winner of $10,000. On Saturday, the Super Bowl of Racing concludes. The 60 lap race will pay $12,000 to the winner.

It was a practice day for photographers too. I was playing with ridiculously low shutter speeds last night. For those that don’t understand, that means it takes the camera a very long time to take the photo. Of the 300 photos, these are the handful of decent ones that were in somewhat of focus.
