The low line is led by Kyle Larson. Joey Logano is blocking both lanes.

Caution.

Green, Logano leads with a push from Elliott Sadler. Larson has fallen to 12th. He made a huge chassis adjustment. Larson said he couldn’t move and change lanes, lacking stability.

Chase Elliott looks high around Logano. Logano drifts up to throw a block. He stalls out the momentum of Chase Elliott. But, Elliott Sadler now has a run on the bottom. Logano quickly dives to the bottom to block that run as well.

“Motor shut off again!,” Logano radios to his crew. But, he’s still going and the #22 continues to lead.

25 to go, you cannot lock bumpers in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. However, teammates Chase Elliott and Elliott Sadler locked bumpers and have just been handed a penalty. Both drivers will need to come to pit road, under green. First, Elliott Sadler makes a move around Logano to lead a lap at the line. The next lap, they are both in the pit lane.

22 to go, trouble at the back. Ryan Truex got blocked by Ryan Reed into turn 3. That sent Truex below the yellow line on corner entry. He saved it but that created some dicing through the field to avoid him. Cole Custer ended up sideways in front of the field. Several cars were collected. Ryan Reed has been black flagged.

Chase Elliott and Elliott Sadler are back in this race! The penalty has been served and they will catch back up to the field with this yellow.

Green, Larson leads. Elliott Sadler and Chase Elliott are back up to 15th. Elliott Sadler has sent a message to Chase Elliott, “Tell Chase I’m sorry. It used to be that you couldn’t lock bumpers to advance your position. I guess that rule changed today.”

14 to go, spin off turn 4. Truex was looking for a hole through the middle. Garrett Smithley came down to plug the hole, Truex was already there. Smithley spins into the infield grass. G-W-C’s

Overtime #3, Reddick and Reed lock bumpers into turn 1. They release ahead of corner entry. Reddick leads followed by Reed and Sadler. They’re crashing off turn 4 at the back.

The yellow is out. But, did they flag come out before or after the leader crossed the line? No, he did not. They will rack them again. That yellow has tied a record for the most caution flags in a NXS race at Daytona. Chase Elliott has been black flagged, the right side window has disappeared. The crew somehow gets a new one located and installed before he losses a lap.

Overtime #4, Sadler pushes Reddick to the lead. He leads by 5 car lengths into turn 1 as Sadler and Reed run side by side for 2nd. The caution is out again. Dylan Lupton has broken something in the rear end down the back-straight. He hits the wall, all by himself. This is now a record breaking number of cautions for the NXS at Daytona. Red flag.

Overtime #5, this is a record number of overtime attempts in the history of NASCAR. Fuel is still an issue… One car runs out coming to the green.

Green, Reddick and Reed are even into turn 1. They each have help from behind. Sadler pushed Reddick out front into turn 3. White flag is out, Reddick and adler have broken away. Sadler lifts to get a huge run.

Sadler has a run down the back. Sadler pulls low into turn 3. Even for the lead. Even off turn 4. Banging fenders at the line! Photo finish! Reddick outruns him by 2 inches or less!

.000 is the official margin of victory at Daytona. It’s the closest finish in NASCAR National Series history.
