Natural Bridge Speedway welcomes crate racing
Natural Bridge Speedway in Natural Bridge, VA has signed on to become a FASTRAK sanctioned track. The track plans to begin the season with open practices on the last two weekends in March and begin racing the first weekend in April, weather permitting.
“I’ve had a few drivers in the area asking for FASTRAK sanctioning,” said Natural Bridge Speedway promoter Mike Coffey, “FASTRAK is doing a great job getting racing back to being affordable and that is a necessity now days.”
Natural Bridge Speedway drivers in Chevrolet Performance Late Models will be eligible to compete for the National Weekly Championship which pays $10,000 to win and pays through the top 10.
The points total is calculated by a driver’s best 15 finishes throughout the season. Natural Bridge Speedway will also receive $1,000 to go towards a Divisional points fund, which allows for local drivers to compete with those at nearby tracks. Divisions will be announced before weekly points start on April 1st.
