Richard Petty Motorsports crew member injured in Las Vegas during pre-race prep
This morning, a crew member has suffered an injury at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Josh Frankos, the front tire changed for the #43 of Bubba Wallace has suffered an injury in pre-race preparations.
Richard Petty Motorsports has issued a brief statement:
“Josh Frankos, our front tire changer, suffered a hand injury Sunday morning preparing for today’s race. Frankos was transported to a local medical center.”
“Michael Hubert will replace Frankos on pit road in today’s race.”
As of now, it’s unclear what the extent of the hand injuries are or if the RPM crew member will return to the race track in Las Vegas, NV. The front tire changed has worked with the famed NASCAR team for the last several seasons.
Bubba Wallace will started 26th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Pennzoil 400 will air at 3:30 ET

Alsco, a sponsor of the #43 announced they will sponsor the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Both Richard Petty and Richard Childress Racing were there to make the announcement.
Richard Petty Motorsports and Richard Childress Racing have an alliance for the 2018 season. Austin Dillon will start 16th today at Las Vegas.
