Round 1
A 15 minute session is underway. However, a mist has dropped on the race track. Cars are entering the race track but none of them are at speed. That are coasting and swerving in the groove.
11 minutes remains, the red flag is out.
5-10 minutes later, the track is back open. It’s still slick, the drivers will be rain racing for a few laps.
7 minutes remain, only 6 cars have turned a lap. Put of that has to do with inspection issues, there’s a long line at the inspection tent.
5 minutes remain, the red flag is out again. There’s too much water on the track. 14 cars have turned a lap.
They’re back green. Ryan Blaney jumps to the top of the board.
2:32 remain, the red flag is out again. It’s the 3rd red flag of the session. This time is for a spin down the back. The #74 of Mike Harmon has gone around.

Round 2 has been rained out. The results from round 1 will be used to the set the grid for the race later today at Texas Motor Speedway.
Ryan Blaney will start from the pole position in today’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Texas.
Morgan Shephard has officially qualified for the show. He will make his 1,000th career NASCAR start.
Only 34 cars of 42 made it to the track. Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Daniel Hemric, Matt Mills, Bayley Currey, Kaz Grala, Matt Tifft and Josh Williams are failed to make it to the track for NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying at Texas Motor Speedway
