NASCAR Cup Series final practice times from Pocono Raceway on June 2, 2018

60 minutes remain in practice, Stenhouse Jr is around. He clipped the apron and the backend stepped out. He stood on the gas to keep it off the wall. He locked up the front and slid on those tires until it poked a 4 inch hole. The wear mark went all the way through. Stenhouse Jr is in the top 20 on the times sheet.
“We’ve been really loose, really all weekend,” Ricky Stenhouse Jr stated to fox Sports after the spin.
Halfway in practice, Kyle Busch still remains at the top of the board. That time was turned in his very first lap. Harvick is 2nd and Truex is 3rd.
Truex leads with top speed into turn 1 at 204.73. Yesterday in qualifying they were flirting with 208. Speeds are down a bit as the teams are now all in race trim.
18 minutes remain, Jamie McMurray was using the transmission to slow the car down. He’s now telling the crew to have a look at the transmission after he heard a noise that he didn’t like.
Kyle Busch wins final practice at Pocono Raceway.
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Pocono 400 will take the green flag on Sunday afternoon. Coverage will begin at 2PM.
