Scott Bloomquist, is the defending winner, the Mooresburg, Tennessee driver has won the event on seven occasions.

The action kicks off tonight when the expected field of 80-plus superstars competes in qualifying time trials and is then staggered into two complete Heat Race, B-Feature and $5,000-to-win “Twin 25” Feature Race programs.

The stakes are even larger on Friday night when the process is repeated again, prize money bumped up throughout the fields and each feature pays $10,000-to-win.

All the while, the racers will be charging each and every time they are on the track because Eldora’s Every Lap Matters™ point system is in effect tonight and Friday. Total points after Friday night seed the Heat Races for Saturday night’s $100,000-to-win finale.

The event will also be streamed online via live.eldoraspeedway.com

Tickets to Thursday night start at just $20 for adults and children (12 & under) are admitted free to all general admission areas all weekend long. For all event information, visit www.EldoraSpeedway.com or call the box office at (937) 338-3815.

Eldora celebrates its 65th consecutive season of racing in 2018 featuring the biggest events in short-track racing, including: the 24th running of the $100,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream Weekend on June 7th-8th-9th; the 35th Annual $50,000-to-win Kings Royal Weekend on July 12th-13th-14th; the Camping World Truck Series’ Eldora Dirt Derby – NASCAR’s only race on dirt on Wednesday, July 18th; the 48th Annual World 100 Weekend on September 6th-7th-8th; and the historic 4-Crown Nationals on September 21st and 22nd.
