This weekend NASCAR rolls into Sparta, Kentucky with a Saturday night show to cap off the week. Kentucky Motor Speedway is a 1.5-mile oval. The racing surface was repaved less than a handful of years ago.

Interesting note: The Verizon Indycar Series and NASCAR use alternative mapping distances for the same track and the same configuration. Indycar labels Kentucky Speedway as 1.48 miles in distance while NASCAR call the track length a 1.5 mile oval.
