While celebrating a birthday, CEO of FASTRAK Racing Series decided to step back
Carnesville, GA – As Stan Lester, founder and CEO of FASTRAK Companies International, celebrates his 60th birthday today, he is taking a step back from the company he has built over the past 15 years.
“It’s hard to believe I’ve been on this Earth for 60 years,” said Lester, “God has blessed me with some great opportunities and great friendships in the racing world. But, it is time for me to slow down.”
While Lester is stepping out of the day to day operations of FASTRAK Companies International, he will still be around in a consulting role as the company continues to grow. This year alone has seen the ULTIMATE Northeast Super Late Model Series and the ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series come to life with several successful events under both banners.
Day to day operations will now be under the sole direction of DJ Irvine who was hired as General Manager of the company last June.
“I’ve learned a lot from Stan over the last year,” said Irvine, “The plan when I came in was to allow Stan to take a step back on his next birthday. Now we are here, and I’m excited for what the future has in store.”
Meanwhile, Lester will be concentrating on a new company. He will also be working on expanding marketing opportunities for FASTRAK as well as new franchises for both FASTRAK and ULTIMATE.
