Tonight, Iowa Speedway hosts the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The 7/8-mile oval rests in Newton, Iowa.

Elliott Sadler and Cole Custer lead them to the start. 60 laps in stage 1, 60 more in stage 2 and 130 in stage 3 will complete the 250 lap NASCAR race in Iowa. Sadler selects the outside line.

Stage 1
Iowa Speedway

Green, Sadler noses ahead on the outside into turn 1. Sadler is clear of Custer off turn 2.

Lap 10, Sadler leads by a full second. Justin Allgaier is running lane 3 as he works to crack the top 5.

Lap 19, Tyler Reddick has cut a left rear tire. Caution for debris.

Green, Custer gets the launch on the inside. Sadler pulls down to side draft him into turn 1. Custer prevails, he leads off turn 2.

5 to go in stage 1, Vinnie Miller is around off turn 4. The caution is out! More trouble! Finchum has pulled to the apron during the caution period, the car is on fire.

Stage 1 will finish under the yellow. Cole Custer takes the stage 1 win at Iowa Speedway.

Stage 1 Results: 1. Cole Custer; 2. Elliott Sadler; 3. Christopher Bell; 4. Austin Cindric; 5. Kyle Benjamin; 6. Justin Allgaier; 7. Brandon Jones; 8. John Hunter Nemechek; 9. Daniel Hemric; 10. Shane Lee;

Stage 2
Iowa Speedway

The field hits the pit lane. Cole Custer is first in and first off.

Green flag, Custer and Sadler run even into turn 1. Allgaier makes it 3 wide for 3rd as he dives to the inside behind them. Sadler takes the lead on the outside of turn 2.

Sieg is around off turn 4. He coasts to the pit area with a flat tire, no caution.

Lap 75, four cars under a blanket for the lead. Sadler leads Custer, Bell and Allgaier. All three run the outside lane, nose to tail.

Custer looks inside of Sadler, through the middle. Bell dives to the bottom, 3 wide for the lead at Iowa! Sadler holds them both off with the high side momentum.

Lap 82, Custer drives it deep to the inside in turn 1. He slides up the hill, clear. Cole Custer takes the lead.

12 to go in stage 2, Custer leads but Christopher Bell is running him down. Lap cars sit just ahead.

10 to go in stage 2, Custer is held up by the lap cars. Bell dives to the bottom, Custer holds him off.

5 to go, Custer is pinned behind a lap car down the back stretch. Bell is there on the inside. Bell to the bottom in turn 3, he’s clear. Christopher Bell takes the lead.

Stage 3
Iowa Speedway

The field hits the pit lane ahead of the final stage. Christopher Bell is the first onto the pit lane. Cole Custer is the first car to the pit exit.

Green flag, Cole Custer gets a push from Justin Allgaier at the line. Custer is clear of Bell. Custer cuts to the inside line, Allgaier remains on the gas around the top. Allgaier nearly gets to the right rear of Custer off turn 2, not quite. Custer leads with Allgaier 2nd as Bell falls to 3rd.

Christopher Bell is rolling, he dives to the inside of Allgaier. Clear, Bell to 2nd.

Lap 148, Bell has run down Cole Custer. Bell is the only driver that can make a pass on the bottom at the front of the field.

Lap 151, Bell tucks in behind of Custer. He runs just a half lane lower in 3-4 then diamonds the exit to get a run off the corner. It works but he can’t complete the pass back in turn 1.

Lap 153, Custer wiggles off turn 4. Christopher Bell has a huge run off the corner. Bell dives to the bottom in turn 1, clear. Christopher Bell takes the lead.

Austin Cindric has a loose wheel. He hits the pit lane under green.

Lap 197, Cole Custer is on the pit lane from 2nd. Lap 201, race leader Christopher Bell is on the pit lane. Christopher Bell cycles back to the lead. Bell leads Custer by 4 seconds.

Lap 237, Chase Briscoe has spun off turn 4! He spins directly in front of the leader. Bell tags him in the left rear after he was already going around. Bell slips between the wall and Briscoe at the start finish line. The caution is out at Iowa Speedway!

Green, Bell gets a huge push from Brandon Jones on the outside lane. Bell leads, Jones is 2nd. Bell gets swarmed into turn 1 as Allgaier dives to the inside.

Bell pinches Jones at the entry as the head back into turn 1. Jones skates up the hill off the corner. He nearly tags Bell. Cole Custer is in the wall behind them as caught the marbles heading into turn 3. Smithley is around, the caution is back out.

It’s going to be an overtime finish at Iowa Speedway. A short shootout for the race win. Here we go…

Green-White-Checkered, Kyle Benjamin dives to the inside. Justin Allgaier looks to the outside. They run 4 wide for the win into turn 1! Allgaier scrapes the wall as he runs inches from Bell. He filled the hole! Allgaier leads off turn 2, Jones to 2nd. They’re wrecking behind them. The red flag is out.

Green-White-Checkered #2, Bell gives a push to Allgaier on the outside lane. Allgaier gets sideways, he door slams Jones and they all continue. Allgaier leads off turn 2, Bell to 2nd. Bell looks outside of Allgaier down the back stretch, now to the inside. Bell cuts to the bottom in turn 3, they run even off turn 4.

Bell cuts to the bottom back in turn 1. Slide job, Bell takes the lead as Allgaier gets sideways through the speedy dry.
