Due to health issues and heat, Kasey Kahne is expected to miss three more weeks in his final season
Kasey Kahne suffered a high heart rate and body temperature during Darlington Raceway. Then then threw up multiple times after the race before reaching the infield care center.
This is something Kahne has been struggling with since about the same time of his last win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2017. For the summer of 2018, it hasn’t gotten any better. In fact, the race at Darlington was the worse it’s ever been.
As a result, Kahne pulled himself from the car last week at Indianapolis to seek medical answers. He is now scheduled to miss the entire first round of the NASCAR playoffs, which he didn’t qualify for.
Regan Smith will remain as the fill in driver for the team. You can read the full announcement from the No 95 team below.
