Donald Trump on Brian France

On Friday, President Donald Trump visited the state of North Carolina. He hosted a rally to support the Republican ballet in the upcoming local elections. In the course of the rally, he gave a nod to Brian France.

“We love – you know what I am talking about – the France family and Brian France. We love you, Brian. Brian, get in there Brian,” Trump said. “Brian is going to be in great shape. Brian is a tough winner.”

“That whole France family, they are pretty good. That’s like owning the entire NFL, you know that right? What a great thing.”

“We love NASCAR. We love the drivers,” Trump concluded at the rally.

The arrest

In the initial report of the arrest, it was rumored that Brian France name dropped the President.

“He was very compliant and the only time he ever mentioned NASCAR, as part of our arrest processing, we ask people where they are employed, and he said ‘NASCAR’, ” Austin J. McGuire, the Sag Harbor Police Chief told the News Journal back in August.

“The arresting officer had no idea who he was or anything. The arresting officer said Mr. France was completely compliant and a gentleman,” McGuire continued.

During the 2016 election, France was an early supporter of Trump. He attended one of the rallies along with former NASCAR champion Bill Elliott and his son Chase Elliott. NASCAR driver Ryan Newman was also at the rally.

Brian France is set to return to court on November 2nd.
