NASCAR practice results for the Daytona 500
Today, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series returns to Daytona International Speedway. Two rounds of Friday practice are set to get underway ahead of Sunday’s Daytona 500.

Practice 3 – Report

Ahead of this session Stewart-Haas Racing has made some changes. Harvick had a hood that buckled yesterday. Now, all four cars have installed more durable noses on their Fords.
A pack of cars have formed on the track immediately.
5 minutes in, Erik Jones turned a few laps and returned to the garage. They’re good for the session already and ready to put it back in the box.
Halfway in practice three at Daytona, Ryan Preece sits at the top of the board. He has an average speed of 200.17.
Most cars are making single car runs around the bottom.
20 minutes remain, a line of Chevy’s run around the bottom. Now, a line of Toyota’s have hit the track. The Chevy’s tried to tag along and the Toyota’s hit the brakes, they want to be alone.
Kyle Busch jumps to the top of the board. The Toyota line went a bit quicker, average speed of 200.285.
