NASCAR Xfinity Series practice results from Daytona International Speedway
Today, the NASCAR Xfinity Series takes to the track for the first time in 2019. They’ve unloaded at Daytona International Speedway for two Friday practice sessions ahead of Saturday’s race.

There’s a few new changes for the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2019. First, the field size has been reduced from 40 to 38. Then, the Toyota Supra will make it’s debut.
Xfinity Practice 1 – Report
Duration: 50 minutes
Session Start: 12:05pm
5 minutes in, they’re pack testing early. A group of 15+ cars have formed on the track. They’re two and three wide, five minutes into the new season.
Jeffrey Earnhardt has a new ride for 2019. An Earnhardt is piloting a Toyota. He sits in the Joe Gibbs Racing #18. He’s also pulling the pack around Daytona.
Jeremy Clements has yet to turn a lap. He’s unsure as to why as the crew continues to work on the car.
Halfway into practice one, Chase Briscoe sits at the top of the times sheet. He has an average speed of 196.46mph.
20 minutes remain, the pack has broken up. A bulk of the teams are out there making single car runs.
Chase Briscoe wins the opening round of NASCAR Xfinity practice at Daytona. Max Tulliman was the only car that didn’t turn a lap.
