NASCAR Xfinity Series
Qualifying Round 2 – Report

The field hits the track in reverse order of their round 1 times. In theory, each car out should run a little faster than the previous car.

Tyler Reddick is sitting on the pit lane with a slow leak in the tire. They could put air in it and it will hold long enough to make a run. That could be an advantage of sorts, it’s like a bleeder valve. But, they’re going to have to change it before the race.

The team has tested the tire on pit road. They aired it up to see how long the air hold hold. Two minutes was the the result. He’s going to make a run.

NASCAR will make him start at the back regardless when he changes the tire.

Three cars remain, Jeffrey Earnhardt currently sits at the top of the board. He picked up 3.4 tenths front round 1 to round two, that’s more than most.

Riddick is the last car on track, with his flat tire. Tyler Reddick jumps to the top of the board and takes the pole at Daytona!
