NASCAR Truck qualifying is done in single car runs. The top twelve from round 1 advance to the final round. Those truck will make a second run to set the pole position.
Kyle Busch is in the show this weekend at his hometown track. He’s pulling triple duty this weekend.

Round 1 – Report
Top 12 Advance: Single truck runs
20 cars have turned a lap so far in truck qualifying. The pace is already quicker than the pace from last year.
The trucks have a new left side tire for this weekend at LVMS. It’s providing more grip and lower lap times.
Kyle Busch sets the track record in round one!
Cory Roper is 4th in round one. That’s a story in itself for the little race team.

Run for pole: 1 lap each
Last year, The March race at Las Vegas was arguably the best NASCAR Truck Series race of the season (Eldora excluded). It was non-stop action and semi-pack racing.
Who’s going to start from the pole position in the NASCAR Truck Series?
30.184 for Kyle Busch in round two! He sets the track record for the second time in this session. Kyle Busch will lead them to the green in the Stratosphere 200 tonight.
“It’s hard to beat him in qualifying,” Harrison Burton said of his team owner.
