Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 25

Green, the lines run even into turn one. The outside lane forms quicker off turn two. Reddick is clear on the outside, he drops to the bottom to lead the inside lane.

Lap 5, Reddick blocks both lanes. Ross Chastain looks to the outside, it’s a fake as he cuts to the bottom and inside of Reddick.

Lap 8, Brandon Jones gets loose through the tri-oval. He spins through the infield grass and the caution is out.

Green, Reddick gets the jump and retakes the lead off turn two. He returns to blocking both lanes as they get runs behind him.

6 to go in stage 1, Ryan Sieg is all over the bumper of Ross Chastain. He gets a little sideways off turn two. Reddick continues to lead.

5 to go, Chastain backs up to the bumper of Sieg. They form a run and Chastain works to the inside of Reddick. They trade side drafts as they run side by side.

3 to go, the outside forms tight. The bottom lane breaks up. That’s all Reddick needed, he’s clear and drops to the bottom to lead the inside lane.

Tyler Reddick continues to block both lanes. He takes the win in stage 1!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 25

Chastain is first off the pit lane with fuel only. Reddick is off in 3rd with two tires. Justin Allagier is the only car to stay out.

Penalty: Ross Chastain is caught speeding on the pit lane. He’ll go to the tail.

Green flag on stage 2, they run even into turn one and again in turn three. Noah Gragson opens to a 3 car length gap in turn four.

Penalty: John Hunter Nemechek got a huge push from Brandon Brown. However, they locked bumpers. Both cars will serve a pass through penalty.

Noah Gragson and Justin Allgaier form bumper to bumper around the top. They’ve caused the field to migrate to the top. The top 10 runs single file around the top.

5 to go in stage two, Tyler Reddick has clipped the outside wall at the flag stand. Not sure how that happened but he continues.

Final lap in stage two, Chastain pulls out of lane and many follow. They move to 2nd on the inside lane by can’t get to the race leader.

Noah Gragson takes the win in stage 2 at Talladega Superspeedway!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 63

The field returns to the pit lane. Chastain is off first with a no tire stop. Noah Gragson collected trash on his grill. He now sits on the pit lane with the hood up as the crew put water into the stage two winner’s machine.

Green, Chastain noses ahead on the outside lane. Briscoe has a run on Bell. Bell throws a block and he gets sideways, they all continue.

Michael Annett leads the outside lane. With help from Ryan Sieg, they push to the race lead. The field races three wide behind them.

48 to go, the field has now formed single file around the top.

47 to go, the caution is out for debris in turn one. Ray Black II comes to the pit lane, slides through his stall and nearly clips his own crew member. He gets pushed behind the wall.

The rest of the field hits the pit lane. Christopher Bell is off first as the top 9 cars to the pit exit take fuel only.

42 to go

Green, Bell leads as the field splits David Starr. The field forms single file around the top in a hurry.

31 to go, Justin Allgaier leads a charge on the inside lane. He pulls even with Bell.

28 to go, Noah Gragson gets loose on the tri-oval. He slides through the grass and clips the inside wall. He looked to the inside of Reddick and they door closed. Gragson drove over the apron and he was sent through the grass.

Green, Allgaier gets the jump on the outside lane. But, he leaves the bottom lane open. Briscoe builds speed and pulls even down the backstretch. Briscoe takes the lead, he pull up to the top lane and now leads the outside lane.

19 to go

19 to go, Austin Cindric gives a shove to Michael Annett down the back stretch. He clips him in the right rear of the bumper and Annett is turned into the outside lane. Annett clips Allgaier and multiple cars are collected.

Green, the inside line forms quicker and Bell gets a push to the lead. Bell blocks both lanes down the backstretch. Reddick side drafts Chase Briscoe, he pulls him back, dives to the bottom and moves back up in front of Briscoe to take 2nd.

11 to go, most of the top 10 drivers run single file around the top. Reddick side drafts Bell at the flag stand. He cuts to the bottom in turn one. Briscoe and Earnhardt follow. Reddick takes the lead!

The caution is out for debris.

7 to go

It’s a short 7 lap shootout at Talladega. Green flag, Reddick gets the jump with a push from Bell on the inside. Reddick throws a big block on the outside off turn two but he holds the lead.

5 to go, they move around Earnhardt and he drops through the field. They run four wide around Earnhardt. He got aero loose and clipped the car on his outside. Multiple cars are collected and the red flag is out.

It’s now a just 2 lap shootout. Green flag, Reddick gets a huge shove from Austin Cindric on the inside lane. Reddick blocks both lanes down the back.

1 to go, Bell drags the brakes at the start finish line. He’s trying to get a run. It works but Reddick blocks. They split Bell.

Briscoe has a massive run down the backstretch. Reddick blocks it!

Tyler Reddick takes the win at Talladega Superspeedway!
