Today, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will take the green flag at Dover International Speedway. It’s a rare Monday showing for the highest level of stock car auto racing.

Kurt Busch was quickest in the opening round of NASCAR practice on Friday. Practice two was a washout. Jimmie Johnson was quickest overall in final practice.
400 miles of racing is up next for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series field. Which driver is going to be quickest in long runs? Kyle Larson showed some strength in final practice on Saturday on that front.
Kyle Larson’s last win came in 2017. He has a good chance of breaking that losing streak today at Dover. Larson led in 10-lap averages for the final practice round on Saturday.
However, since practice, the track has been completely washed off. It’s a totally green race track for the race today. Many drivers will likely make changes to the setup ahead of today’s race.
