Tonight, it’s night one of a three night Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series show. Magnolia Motor Speedway hosts the Clash at The Mag in Columbus, Mississippi.

Qualifying – Report
Josh Richards hit the track first in group A qualifying. He went to the top of the board and stayed there. His time of 13.999 was over .4 seconds quicker than the next best in group A.
Bobby Pierce only got one lap in. The car died on him in turn three on his second lap.
Don O’Neal was quickest in Group B. Richards was quickest overall of the 39 cars.
Heat 1 – Report
Josh Richards and Earl Pearson Jr set the front row for the first heat race of the night. Green, Richards gets the jump.
Moran follows Richards on the bottom into turn one. Pearson falls to 3rd before turn one.
The field has moved to the bottom of the track in a hurry. A few have tried to roll the cushion but they’ve all bailed after a lap.
Josh Richards cruises to the win in heat one!
Heat 2 – Report
Billy Moyer Jr and Kyle Bronson trial the pace truck in heat two. Green, Moyer gets the jump.
Bronson cuts to the bottom in turn one, across the nose of Austin Arnold. Arnold is around with a flat tire and the caution is out.
Green, Moyer leads into turn one. Bronson heads for the top as Stormy Scott works to his inside. Bronson is on the gas around the top!
Bronson gets to the right rear of Moyer off turn two. He squeezes between the right rear of Moyer and the outside wall. Moyer leaves just enough room, minimal door to door contact, if any. Bronson to the lead!
Kyle Bronson takes the win in heat two!
Heat 3 – Report
Don O’Neal and Gavin Landers lead them to the starting line in heat three.
Green, Don O’Neal gets the jump.
Hudson O’Neal started way on the banking at the launch. He’s three wide and in the middle at the flag stand. Hudson bangs doors with Landers heading into turn one.
Hudson O’Neal to the top in turn one. He’s closing the gap to his dad but not enough. Don O’Neal leads into turn three.
Lap 8, everyone but Hudson O’Neal is on the bottom lane of the race track. Don O’Neal is pulling away.
Don O’Neal takes the win in heat three!
Heat 4 – Report
Tim McCreadie and Mike Marlar lead them to the starting line in the final heat race of the night. Green, McCreadie gets the jump. Moriarty is crossed up behind them but he saves it.
McCreadie and Marlar each head for the top in turn one. McCreadie opens a gap off turn two.
MvCreadie takes the win in the final heat race of the night!
Main Event – Report
The 25-lap main event is up next. $5,000 is up for grabs in the preliminary main event.
Josh Richards and Don O’Neal will set the front row. They line up in a four wide salute for the Mississippi dirt racing crowd…
Green flag, Tim McCreadie gets the jump from row two! They run three wide for the lead into turn one. McCreadie runs the middle and comes out with the lead off turn two!
Lap 10, McCreadie is catching the tail of the field. Richards cuts to the bottom in turn one. McCreadie bobbles on the top and Richards takes the lead on the bottom off turn two.
Lap 15, the entire field has moved to the bottom of the race track. Richards, McCreadie and Don O’Neal run nose to tail behind lap traffic.
Final lap, they remain bumper to bumper at the front. McCreadie gives it one last shot off turn four. He works to the outside.
Josh Richards wins night one at Magnolia Motor Speedway! That’s his first win of the season and the first with his new team.
