We’ll see a different style of qualifying at Pocono Raceway. NASCAR will send the cars out in groups of three.
They will hit the track with 15 seconds of separation. If NASCAR thinks a team or driver attempts to draft by slowing down or something else, the time will be disallowed.
It doesn’t matter where Tyler Reddick qualifies today, he’ll go to the rear for the start of the race. The team made a transmission change after practice.

Qualifying – Report
Jeffrey Earnhardt has an interesting strategy on his run. He exited the pits and cut the engine off. He’s not trying to slow down. He’s just trying to keep heat out of the engine.
Earnhardt fires it back up just ahead of turn two. He jumps to 2nd on the board during his run.
Christopher Bell is on track late in single car qualifying. He also shuts off the engine shortly after exiting the pit lane.
Christopher Bell ran the entire lap tracking toward the pole. He lost time off turn three and coming to the line.
Bell drove it deeper into the corners but Custer was quicker overall with more speed off the corner.
Cole Custer will start from the pole position at Pocono Raceway!
