Today, Pocono Raceway hosts the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The 2.5-mile triangle race track is set for the green flag of the Pocono 400 in Long Pond, Pennsylvania.

Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 50

Green flag, William Byron vets a push from Erik Jones on the outside lane. Byron leads Kyle Busch out of turn one.

Lap 21, Kevin Harvick heads to the pit lane. Byron leads Erik Jones by 1 second. That gap will erased as the competition caution is out.

The field heads to the pit lane. Byron is first to the pit entry but Kyle Larson wins the race off pit lane. Harvick returned to top off with fuel.

Green, Larson and Keseliwski run even into turn one as they run three wide behind them. Larson gets the run on the outside to take the lead off turn two.

Lap 29

Lap 29, Austin Dillon is backwards in the the fence in turn three. Paul Menard tagged him in the rear bumper at the entry to the corner, he got loose and couldn’t save it. The yellow is out.

Green, Byron gives a shove to Larson on the outside lane. Byron cuts to the bottom just ahead of the entry to turn one. Larson isn’t phased, he’s smooth around the top and leads out of turn one.

5 to go in stage 1, Byron is on the bumper of the leader but he’s having a tough time making the pass. The top five were nose to tail a few days prior, these two have broken away.

2 to go, Kyle Busch, Hamlin, Jones, Elliott and Bowyer head to the pit lane.

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 50

Most of the field heads to the pit lane, led by Larson. Byron wins the race off the pit lane but Keselowski and Truex stayed out.

Green flag on stage two, Keselowski and Truex run side by side through turn one. Kyle Busch has a run on both of them off the corner. They run three wide for the lead into turn two and Kyle Busch comes out with the lead on the bottom lane.

Lap 57, Matt DiBenedetto is around and the yellow flag is back out.

Green, Busch and Hamlin run even into the corner and Busch leads off the top of turn one. Matt Tifft is around behind them and the caution is back out.

Green, Kyle Busch leads Clint Bowyer. They run four wide into turn one just outside the top five.

Lap 68, Corey LaJoie rubs the wall and scatters debris across the track. The yellow is out once again.

Green, Kyle Busch leads Bowyer into turn one. Bowyer side drafts him at the entry, pulls him back and Bowyer carries momentum to the lead off turn one!

Lap 74

Lap 74, Busch has a run on Bowyer into turn three. Bowyer heads to the bottom and Busch runs the middle. He’s at his bumper, door and clear with an outside lane pass.

10 to go in stage 2, Kyle Busch leads Bowyer by 5 seconds but he needs to make a pit stop.

9 to go, Truex heads to the pit lane will smoke coming out of the headers, he heads to the garage.

7 to go, Busch, Bowyer and Harvick head for the pit lane. Chase Elliott inherits the lead.

4 to go, Elliott, Johnson and Bowman head for the pits. Kyle Larson will take over the lead.

Kyle Larson takes the stage two win!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 60

Kyle Larson heads to the pit lane and Logano wins the race of the pit lane. 11 cars stay out. Kyle Busch and Havrick lead them to the restart.

Green flag on stage three, Kyle Busch gets the jump on the outside lane. Busch leads out of turn one but Harvick has a run into turn two. Hamlin gives Busch a shove into turn two and Busch holds the lead.

41 to go, Brad Keselowski is the first car to pit under the green, two tires and fuel for him. Joey Logano is in a lap later.

36 to go, Kyle Busch leads Kevin Harvick by just under a second. Both cars head for the pit lane. 2 tires for Harvick and four for Busch.

Penalty: Uncontrolled tire for Harvick, he’ll have to serve a pass through penalty.

Lap 140

20 to go, Kyle Busch cycles back to the lead. He leads Erik Jones by 3 seconds.

14 to go, Ricky Stenhouse Jr is in the wall with a flat tire and the caution is out!

Chase Elliott runs a fake to the pit lane. Alex Bowman is the first car to pit, he was running 9th. The top 8 stay out.

Green flag, Kyle Busch leads into turn one and Keselowski pops out in 2nd. They run four wide for 5th. Kyle Larson cuts across the nose of Bowyer and Larson is in the wall, no caution. Larson heads to the pit road under green.
