Duck River Raceway Park opened in 1973 as a dirt track near Wheel, Tennessee. The 1/4-mile oval is open to racing every Saturday night during the short track racing season.
Today, the track remains open to the Tennessee racing fans. However, it’s been listed for sale.
The facility sits on 35 acres of land, about an hour South of Nashville, TN.
The track highlights weekly shows featuring Super Late Models, Two Barrel Late Models, Crate Late Models, and Street Stocks. Special events have also been held with national and regional touring series such as The World of Outlaws Late Models, NeSmith Street Stocks Series, Duck River’s Annual Memorial Day Classic, the Sam Pugh Labor Day Weekend, and Deep Fried 75 Super Late Model events.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series last visited the speedway in 2017. For the past two years, the track has been absent from the LOLMDS schedule.
