NASCAR has slightly adjusted turn five. Yesterday, the cars were rolling through the dirt while cutting the corner. That placed dirt and debris on the race track.
Overnight, that has been fixed. A four foot wide asphalt berm has been installed. That will keep cars off the dirt and the dirt off the race track.
Group qualifying is active for road courses. Today, we’ll see two sessions of knockout qualifying.

Erik Jones has a flat left rear. He didn’t get a lap in before the tire let go. It’s also tore up the left rear fender.
“I thought it was really loose,” Erik Jones radio.
