Brad Keselowski’s rival, Kyle Busch comments on NASCAR blocking

Brad Keselowski wrecked William Byron for blocking in practice; Kyle Busch comments

Last year in the July Daytona race, William Byron threw a block at the front of the field. Brad Keselowski checked up and ended up turned off the nose of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. It resulted in a massive crash with half the field torn up.

“You know, I’m just not wrecking enough people,” Keselowski said after the crash. “I need to wreck more people so they’ll stop throwing bad blocks. And that’s what’s happening to me on the plate tracks.”

Fast forward a year, Brad Keselowski had a run on William Byron with a train of cars on the bumper of Keselowski. Byron attempted a block.

Keselowski proceeded to stand by his statements from the previous year. He didn’t lift. Keselowski got into the rear bumper of Byron and sent him sideways to the apron of the race track.

Byron has since been forced to a backup car. With qualifying rained out, Byron will start the race with no laps turned on the new machine.

“I just had a big run. He put me in a position where I had to lift and I keep telling these guys, I’m not lifting,” Brad Keselowski stated after the Thursday crash.

Kyle Busch on Brad Keselowski not lifting

Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski just don’t like each other. To the point Kyle Busch was once quoted as saying, “Sometimes, you just don’t like a guy.”

Yesterday, Busch was asked about the recent incident and comments from Keselowski.

“I’ve never seen Brad lift behind me anyways. So, I don’t anticipate that if it’s an #18 car he’s going to do anything any different,” Kyle Busch stated in the Daytona media center.

“You have to be careful with who you’re racing. Who you’re doing things with and what’s going on.”

“Tony [Stewart] kinda always said that. I threw a big block on him [Stewart] in 2008 and about ended up on my lid.”

“S-H-I-T happens man,” Busch spells out what happens.
