Tonight, it’s the first of two nights at Lucas Oil Speedway. Two nights of the Diamond Nationals, paying $15,000 to win in each feature.

Wheatland, Missouri, population 371 is set for a night of the national dirt late model tour. The track is a 3/8-mile dirt oval owned by Forrest Lucas.
Heat 1 – Report
Scott Bloomquist and Jimmy Owens set the from row in heat one. Green, Bloomquist gets the jump and slides clear in turn one.
Lap 5, Bloomquist leads by two car lengths. Owens gets close then fades again.
Scott Bloomquist takes the win in heat race number one.
Heat 2 – Report
Jake Neal and Oberkramer will lead them to the line in heat two. ‘
Green, Neal leads on the bottom into turn one. Babb hits turn one and stalls with more mechanical issues, caution.
Green, Moyer Sr moves to 2nd as Neal continues to lead.
Babb is slicing through the field after restarting at the tail. However, he remains short of a transfer spot.
Jake Neal hits the cushion, he opens the gap and drives off to the win.
Heat 3 – Report
Earl Pearson Jr and Kyle Bronson head for the flag stand in heat three. Green, they run side by side into turn one. Bronson hangs onto his right rear off turn two.
Lap 2, the leaders bang doors as they fight for space back in turn one.
Bronson noses ahead on the top. Pearson fights back on the bottom. They remain side by side.
They trade laps led all the way to the end. Pearson takes the win in a thrilling heat!
Heat 4 – Report
Jackson and Eckert trail the pace truck ahead of the final heat race of the night. Green, Jackson leads on the bottom into turn one.
Lap 2, Jackson heads to the top. Eckert has a look on the bottom.
Jackson opens the gap and wins the final heat race of the night!
Main Event – Report
Scott Bloomquist and Earl Pearson Jr set the front row for the main event. The fields lines up in a four wide salute for the Missouri dirt racing crowd.
The 60 lap main event is up next. $15,000 is on the line.
Green flag, Bloomquist leads into turn one on the bottom. Hudson O’Neal is nearly around behind them. Stormy Scott goes around and the caution is out.
Green, Bloomquist leads on the bottom. Pearson remains on the top. Owens moves to third. He drives by Pearson for 2nd and Pearson tucks in behind him, abandoning the top lane.
Lap 7, Bloomquist and Owens run nose to tail around the bottom. Owens moves to the top and pulls even.
The leaders remain side by side. They approach the tail of the field and Owens pops out with the lead around the top.
Lap 21, Flat tire on the #36 off turn four and the yellow is out. Moran heads to the pits.
Green, Owens leads on the bottom. Pearson pulls to his right rear and Owens leaves the lane open.
The leaders remain side by side. Pearson is making the top work this time. He’s clear.
Owens picks up the pace once again. He pulls even, he stomps the gas to make it rotate early on the bottom and Owens is clear.
The leader slides lap cars as they run side by side ahead of him. Pearson splits the lappers as well. Owens leads by 5 car lengths.
10 to go, Owens leads Pearson by 15 car lengths.
Owens drives away and wins night 1 of the Diamond Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway!
