The 100 lap main event is up next. A check for $101,626.20 will be handed to the race winner with a full purse over $330,000.

Jonathan Davenport was the winner of the dash moments ago. Now, he’ll start from the pole position with Brandon Sheppard on his outside.

Bobby Pierce had issues in the B Main. He’ll now start last in the foeld. A providional and a backup car for him.

The field lines up in a four wide salute for the Ohio dirt racing fans. Fireworks blast and we’re ready for the feature race of the weekend….

Green flag, they run side by side into turn one. Davenport drives it deep on the bottom and he’s clear. Sheppard holds 2nd.

Lap 5, most of the field works the bottom. Davenport is working the middle to the top. Sheppard follows him up there.

Lap 9, Pierce is plus seven spots after starting at the back. He’s glued to the cushion but he’s already knocked a big hole in the right rear sheet metal.

Lap 13, Davenport has moved back to the bottom and he’s caught the tail of the field. Sheppard has climbed to his bumper.

Sheppard moves to the top to try and pin Davenport behind a lap car. That leaves the inside open for Junghans who drives by on the bottom to take 2nd.

Lap 17, the caution is out for debris. A big piece if sheet metal was flapping in the wind off the back of the #32. It finally fell off.

Green, Davenport leads. Sheppard moves back to 2nd around the top.

Lap 18, several cars tangle in turn one. Shirley ends up into the inside tire barrier. He’s sent for a loop across the track. He gets plowed by Ryan Markham as the field had nowhere to go. Babb, Moran and others are collected.

Pierce and Michael Norris head to the pit area under yellow.

Green, Davenport leads. Junghans moves back to 2nd.

Lap 23, Junghans is all over the bumper of the leader. They run nose to tail around the bottom. Sheppard is closing in on both of them.

Lap 30, Sheppard runs the cushion with a lane to himself at the front. He drives even and clear if Junghans.

Now, Sheppard is looking for the lead in turn one. He gets to the outside of Davenport and has the momentum off turn two. Sheppard leads into turn three.

Lap 40, Sheppard leads by 10 car lengths.

Lap 44, the yellow is out. Pierce was the cause of the caution. Pearson, Lanigan and Pierce head for the pits.

Green, Sheppard leads. Junghans takes 2nd. Marlar is bouncing off the cushion and pulls even with Davenport for 3rd, Marlar takes the spot.

Lap 50, Sheppard leads Junghans by four car lengths.

Lap 66, Sheppard has caught the tail of the field. He’s struggling with the lap cars as most of the field runs the bottom. Junghans has closed to his bumper and Marlar is closing in on both of them. Sheppard works clear of the first lap car and opens the gap.

Lap 75, the caution is out for debris on the back stretch.

Green, Sheppard leads. Junghans spins the tires at the launch and Marlar takes 2nd into turn one.

Lap 85, Sheppard leads Marlar by four car lengths.

Lap 99, slow car in turn four and the yellow is out!

Green, Sheppard leads Marlar. He opens a gap of two car lengths in a hurry.

Lap 100, Eckert is around back in turn three and the caution is back out. It’s a one lap shootout!

Green, Sheppard leads Marlar by a car length into turn one. He opens the gap.

Brandon Sheppard wins the Dirt Million at Mansfield Motor Speedway!
