Tonight, the 1/4-mile mile oval pays $30,000 to win. Tyler County Speedway is set to host the Hillbilly Hundred featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Race Report

America’s Baddest Bullring is set for the 2019 Hillbilly Hundred. Tonight’s feature winner will hit the road with a check for $30,000.

Josh Richards and Tanner English set the front row for the main event. The field exits the pit gate.

Earl Pearson Jr spun through the infield during his heat race. He was unable to climb to the front in the B Main but will start at the tail with a series provisional. Hudson O’Neal and Stormy Scott will also join the tail on a provisional.

Mike Benedum was set to line up 15th. He’ll drop to the tail as he missed the 10 minute call.

They line up in a four wide salute for the West Virginia dirt racing fans. The 100 lap feature race is up next…

Green flag, Richards noses ahead into turn one. English, Davenport and Owens run three wide for 2nd. Owens takes 2nd on the bottom.

Lap 5, Richards and Owens runs nose to tail around the bottom. Davenport was giving the high side a try but he drops to the bottom as well.

Richards has caught the tail of the field. He moves to the top for the first time since the green. Owens follows.

Brandon Sheppard started this race in 10th. He’s now all over the back bumper of Davenport for 3rd.

Richards is struggling to get around the lap car of Hudson O’Neal. Owens is all over him for the lead. Owens moves to the top but slides to the wall and loses two car lengths.

McCreadie drives it deep on the bottom into turn three. He’s looking for 4th from Sheppard. They make door to door contact but Sheppard holds the spot.

McCreadie moves to the top as they return to turn three. He’s at his right rear off turn four. McCreadie carries the high side momentum and takes 4th into turn one.

Lap 61, Travis Brown is around in turn four. The caution is out for the first time.

Green, Richards leads. Owens holds 2nd and Davenport 3rd. McCreadie tried to make it three wide on the outside for 2nd but had to checkup.

Sheppard is struggling off turn two. Overton slides him in turn three. Now, English does the same. Sheppard falls to 7th.

Richards was leading by five car lengths. He he catches the tail of the field, Owens climbs to his bumper.

McCreadie slides Davenport for 3rd into turn three. Davenport tries to cross under him off turn four but he can’t get there.

Lap 81, the caution is back out. Sheppard heads to the pit area.

Green, Richards leads Owens and McCreadie.

McCreadie slides Owens for 2nd into turn three. Owens crosses under him off turn four. They run side by side into turn one. They run door to door of turn four but McCreadie noses ahead with the high side momentum. He drops to the bottom and takes Owens line away. McCreadie to 2nd.

McCreadie is chasing down the race leader. Overton is all over him at the same time. Buckingham started 20th but he runs right there with them in 4th.

Lap 93, Stormy Scott is around in turn four and the caution is out.

Green, Richards leads. McCreadie is working the top. Richards runs the middle and opens the gap.

2 to go, Overton slides McCreadie for 2nd in turn three.

At the front, Richards is driving away. He wins at Tyler County Speedway!
