The trucks and Xfinity were on the track earlier this morning. Now, the Cup Series makes their first entrance to the racing surface.
This race marks the opening round of the 2019 NASCAR Playoffs. 16 drivers are eligible. The winner of this race will advance to the next round. The bottom four in points after the first three races will be eliminated.

A long line of cars sit at the edge of the pit lane ahead of this session. Drivers are looking to take to the track in a group to work on race runs.
William Byron is quickest early on. A group of 20 cars moved to the track at once at the green of the practice session.
32 minutes remain, the caution is out for debris on the track.
Denny Hamlin is fighting a car that’s too low. He’s catching bumps in turn one and chasing the car.
Kevin Harvick is another driver chasing his car all over the race track. He’s the defending winner of this race.

William Byron also sits on the top of the 5-lap average chart.
15 minutes remain, Ross Chastain sits in the penalty box. He was late to inspection last week and will be forced to miss the remainder of this session.
2 minutes remain, Byron sits at the top but that’s about to change. Bowyer has hit the track in qualifying trim.
