Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 80 (1-80)

Green flag, Suarez noses ahead on the inside into turn one. Bowyer fights back on the outside. They run even into turn three.

Suarez side drafts off turn four. He forces Bowyer wide and makes light contact in the right rear. Suarez moves to the lead.

Lap 5, Kyle Busch gets loose off turn two. He skates up the tracks and makes contact with the wall, he continues.

Lap 24, Harvick washes up the hill off turn four. He makes light contact with the wall but continues. Joey Logano is flying through the field. High or low, Logano is slicing through all them and up to 3rd. Logano have picked up 19 positions since the start.

Lap 35, Almirola works to the inside of Suarez off turn four. Logano is on his bumper. Logano drives it deep to the bottom in turn one and he takes the lead.

Pit cycle

Lap 40, Chase Elliott heads to the pit lane with Erik Jones. Harvick, Bowyer and Suarez hit the pits on lap 41.

Lap 43, Logano pits from the lead.

Lap 56, Michael McDowell remains on the track. He’s the only car that hasn’t pitted. Logano trails by 5 seconds.

Lap 59, Logano drives by McDowell and cycles back to the race lead. Almirola trails Logano by 4.8 seconds.

Joey Logano cruises to the win in stage 1 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 80 (81-160)

The field heads to the pit lane. Logano is first in and Kevin Harvick wins the race to the pit exit.

Green flag on stage two, Harvick noses ahead at the line. Byron gives a shove to Harvick into turn one. Byron moves to the top and makes it three wide for the lead.

Harvick falls backward through the middle. Byron works the outside of Logano but Logano holds him off. They fields runs four wide outside the top 10.

Erik Jones is stuck in 2nd gear behind them. He heads to the pits under green.

Pit cycle

Lap 123, Harvick, Byron and others head for the pit lane. Lap 124, Logano pits from the race lead. Logano cycles back to the race lead.

Lap 139, Chase Elliott is running down the race leader. Martin Truex Jr is runnign down them both.

Lap 142, Truex works to the outside of Elliott. They run three wide with a lap car and Truex takes 2nd.

Lap 147, Truex is on the bumper of the race leader. He can get there but he can’t find a way by. Logano is better in lap traffic.

3 to go, Truex is on the bumper of the leader. Logano heads to the bottom but he’s roadblocked by a lap car with another lap car to his outside. Truex drives to the lead on the outside.

Martin Truex Jr wins stage 2 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 107 (161-267)

The field returns to the pit lane. Truex is first in and first off.

Penalty: Too many men over the wall for Kyle Larson.

Green flag on stage three, Truex and Logano run side by side through turn one. Truex wins the battle on the top with a push from Harvick.

Lap 172, Chase Elliott works to the bumper of the leader. He enters high and crosses under Truex off the corner. Chase Elliott takes the lead.

Lap 181, William Byron is around with a flat tire and the caution is out.

Pit stops

The field returns to the pit lane. Hamlin is the first car off with two tires. Harvick is off in 5th with four.

Green, Hamlin and Blaney runs side by side for the lead. Harvick is on the charge behind them.

Lap 187, Hamlin washes off the bottom. He chases it up the hill and Blaney drives by on the outside. Harvick has a run on both of them. Harvick leads out of turn two.

Joey Logano has a run on Suarez off turn two. Logano is on his right rear and Suarez stuffs him in the fence. They both continue but Logano has heavy right side damage.

Lap 188, Kurt Busch is in the wall with a flat tire. The caution is out.

Chase Elliott heads to the pit lane.

Green, Harvick leads on the bottom into turn one. Paul Menard and Clint Bowyer tangle at the flag stand, the green is still out.

Clint Bowyer heads to the pit lane with a tire rub.

Pit cycle

38 to go, Harvick, Logano and Truex head for the pit lane.

20 to go, Truex is on the bumper of Harvick. He looks to the outside. He’s at his right rear off the corner. Truex swings around the outside and takes the lead.

10 to go, Kyle Busch moves to the top. He misjudges the lap car ahead. Busch slides into the back on him and pickes up heavy nose damage. He continues but well off the pace.

Martin Truex Jr drives away and wins at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!
