This is race number two of the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs. The part oval and part road course stretches 2.28 miles over 17 corners.

Chase Briscoe and Tyler Reddick lead the field to the starting line. 67 laps of stock racing racing are up next…

Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 20 (1-20)

Green flag, Broscoe noses ahead on the bottom into turn one. Reddick is hanging onto his bumper and has a look on the inside through the infield but backs out.

Reddick blows the chicane! Several cars tangle behind them. Reddick comes to a stop in the chicane. That’s not the rule he has to stop in the restart zone. He figures it out and stops there also. Reddick falls outside the top 20 by stopping twice.

Lap 3, the caution is out as David Starr has come to a stop on the apron.

Green, Broscoe leads. Michael Annett picks up heavy nose damage as they stack up in the restart zone.

3 to go in stage 1, Christopher Bell heads to the pit lane under green. AJ Allmendinger and Tyler Reddick pit as well. 2 to go, Cole Custer pits.

Final lap in stage one, Austin Cindric has closed to the race leader. But, he’s not close enough to make a move.

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 20 (21-40)

The field heads to the pit lane. Briscoe is first in and Cindric is first off. Cindric restarts in 7th as Custer and Christopher Bell lead them to the restart.

Green flag on stage two, they run side by side through turn one and make light contact on the exit. Bell moves to the lead into turn two.

Lap 26, Allmendinger has a run on Cole Custer as they head onto the back stretch. Custer lifts early and tucks behind him as they head into the chicane, wise move. Allmendinger trails Bell by 1.2 seconds.

Lap 35, Allmendinger has cut the gap to Bell down to just .4 seconds.

3 to go in stage two, Austin Cindric (4th) heads to the pit lane under green.

2 to go, Christopher Bell pits from the race lead. Allmendinger pits as well.

Cole Custer takes the win in stage two at The ROVAL!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 27 (41-67)

The rest of the field heads for the pit lane. Custer has to backup in the pit stall. Briscoe wins the race off the pit lane and will restart 7th. Bell and Cindric lead them to the starting line.

Green flag on stage 3, Bell noses ahead into turn one. They run four wide for 4th on back! Ryan Truex and Cole Custer are around as they ran out of room. The caution is back out.

Green, Bell is clear before turn one. AJ Allmendinger moves to 2nd.

21 to go, Allmendinger is on the bumper of the race leader.

20 to go, Allmendinger gets into his rear bumper! They rub doors as they exit the infield and head on to the oval in turn 8.

19 to go, Lawson Aschenbach is around and the caution is out!

Green, Allmendinger and Bell run even into turn one. Bell gets loose at the exit of the corner and Allmendinger holds the lead.

11 to go

11 to go, Chase Broscoe is on the bumper of Christopher Bell for 2nd. Bell nearly blows the chicane on the back.

They run side by side into the frontstretch chicane as Briscoe drives it deep on the inside. Briscoe runs Bell wide as they exit the chicane. Bell is forced through the grass.

Bell gets loose as they remain side by side into turn two. He gets into the side of him and Briscoe goes around to bring out the caution. Bell heads to the tail

Green, Allmendinger leads. Cindric and Reddick run side by side for 2nd, Cindric holds 2nd.

Brandon Jones is around. Bell and 15 others run through the grass to avoid him, the green is still out.

Ray Black Jr and Josh William make contact off turn 17. Black Jr is in the front stretch wall and the caution is out again.

Green, Allmendinger is nearly clear into turn one but Cindric drives it deep into the corner on the outside. Allmendinger gets the run off turn corner and leads into turn two.

Harrison Burton and Preston Pardus tangle behind them but no caution.

3 to go, Noah Gragson runs the apron of the oval on his teammate of Justin Allgaier for 4th. Allgaier holds that spot into the chicane.

2 to go, Austin Cindric has a problem with the suspension. He falls to 3rd as Reddick takes over 2nd. Allmendinger leads by 1 seconds.
