Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 120
Green flag, Denny Hamlin leads off turn two on the outsude. Larson is under fire from Harvick.
Lap 8, Chase Elliott is slow and the caution is out!
Green, Larson noses ahead on the bottom into turn one. Hamlin fights back and holds him off on the top.
Lap 20, Blaney pinches Bowman off turn two. Bowman pushes slightly up the hill. Bowman tags him in the left rear. They both continue and Bowman takes 10th.
Lap 27, Hamlin runs three wide with lap traffic. Larson is coming quick. Larson looks to his outside but Hamlin closes the door off the corner.
Larson swings to the bottom and works under him with the momentum from the top. Hamlin holds him off into turn three.
Lap 52, Hamlin is driving away. Truex is on the move to the front. He looks to the inside of Larson and takes over 2nd.
Pit cycle
Lap 76, Kyle Larson gets the green flag pit cycle started as he pits from 3rd. The next lap, Denny Hamlin pits from the lead.
Lap 87, Hamlin has cycled back to the lead. Truex trails by 1.5 seconds.
5 to go in stage one, Hamlin leads Truex by .7 seconds. 14 cars are on the lead lap.

Stage 2 – Report
Laps: 120 (121 – 240)
The field returns to the pit lane. Hamlin is first in and first off.
Penalty: Uncontrolled tire for Paul Menard and Kyle Busch has been caught speeding.
Green flag on stage two, Hamlin is clear well before turn one. Harvick pulls even with Truex for 2nd. Harvick takes over 2nd on the outside lane.
Lap 155, Hamlin works lap traffic and Harvick has closed to his bumper. Hamlin has struggled in lap traffic all day. As they clear lap cars, Hamlin opens the gap back up.
Lap 180, Hamlin leads Harvick by 1 second.
Pit cycle
Lap 184, Harvick and Truex pit under green. The next lap, Hamlin pits from the lead.
Penalty: William Byron is too fast on pit road. He’ll serve a pass through under green.
Lap 188, Hamlin cycles back to the lead. Truex is now 2nd, trailing by 2 seconds.
Lap 229, Hamlin is working the lap car of Joey Logano. Truex is coming quickly. Truex drives deep on the outside. He gets to his right rear off the corner and Hamlin leaves the lane open. Truex leads as they head into turn three.

Laps: 160 (241 – 400)
The field returns to the pit lane. Truex is first in but he falls to 5th at pit exit. Larson wins the race off pit lane.
Green flag on stage three, Kyle Larson is clear into turn one. Hamlin holds 2nd.
Lap 298, Ryan Blaney has an issue! Another playoff driver with a mechanical failure. He heads to the garage with brake issues.
Lap 300, Kyle Larson leads Denny Hamlin by 5 seconds.
Pit cycle
Lap 319, Clint Bowyer heads to the pit lane to begin the final round of green flag stops. Lap 320, Denny Hamlin is in. Truex and Harvick are in on lap 321. Lap 322, Larson pits from the race lead.
Penalty: Too fast on pit road for Erik Jones.
Lap 328, Larson cycles back to the race lead. Truex trails him by 6.5 seconds.
50 to go, Alex Bowman has been working on Hamlin for 3rd. He runs high in turn three and Hamlin shuts the door off turn four. Bowman gets into his rear bumper before crossing under him. With a run down the front stretch, Bowman dives to the bottom and takes 3rd into turn one.
20 to go, Larson leads Truex by 4.1 seconds.
10 to go, Larson leads Truex by 3.2 seconds.
2 to go, Truex has closed to within 1.5 seconds. Larson is taking it easy on lap traffic. Truex is going to run out of time.
