Denny Hamlin run Joey Logano wide off turn four at Martinsville Speedway. It resulted in a blown tire after he was inside the top five when they made contact.
Despite the late race contact, Logano was able to rally back into the top ten.
After the race, Logano approached Hamlin to talk about what happened on the track. At the end of the conversation, Logano placed his hand on the shoulder of Hamlin with a bit of force.
As Logano walked away, Hamlin went to chase him back down. Crew members from both teams jumped into the scene to separate the two drivers.
Dave Nichols Jr, a crew member for Joey Logano then grabbed Hamlin by the back of his racing suit and pulled him down to the ground. The crew member is a much larger man than the fun-sized Hamlin. Thus, Hamlin hit the ground with a thud.
NASCAR called team members to the hauler after the race. Earlier this morning, officials hinted at a pending penalty.
