Go Fas Racing forms technical alliance with Stewart-Haas Racing

Single car operation teams with one of the biggest in NASCAR

Go Fas Racing fields a single car in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Their No. 32 machine is currently being piloted by Corey LaJoie.

The team has made 203 MENCS starts since their debut in 2012. The team has collected 5 total top-10 finishes. All five have come in the previous three seasons with two of them coming this year.

Now, the Ford operation is looking to take the next step. So, they have aligned themselves with one of the largest Ford organizations in the field.

“2020 will be an exciting year at GFR with the addition of SHR cars and their technical assistance,” stated team owner Archie St. Hilaire.

“I can’t thank all of the great people at SHR for the opportunity to align with them. All of this couldn’t happen without the help of our wonderful sponsors and marketing partners.”

“GFR has improved every year in our six years in the NASCAR Cup Series and I believe that the best is yet to come for this little team and our great group of employees,” St. Hilaire concluded.

This alliance will present the team with chassis, data and technical support for the No. 32 Ford Mustang. They also have help directly from Ford Performance as well as Roush-Yates Engines.

Stewart Haas Racing fields four cars in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Those drivers are Kevin Harvick, Aric Almirola, Clint Bowyer and Daniel Suarez.

“This arrangement will allow Go Fas Racing to improve its performance in 2020 and position itself for future growth,” said Greg Zipadelli, Vice President of Competition for Stewart-Haas Racing.

The 2020 driver for Go Fas Racing has not been confirmed. The team has schedule a press conference for later this afternoon.
