NASCAR inspection issues at ISM Raceway

Five NASCAR crew members ejected from Phoenix

This weekend, NASCAR rolls into ISM Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona. It’s the final race before the Championship 4 event next week.

NASCAR OSS inspection opened at Noon ET time. Qualifying is underway now.

34 of 39 cars passed on their first attempt. Three cars failed on their second attempt: Jimmie Johnson, Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Austin Dillon.

Crew members ejected from ISM Raceway: Chase Elliott, William Byron, Matt DiBenedettio and Ross Chastain

All five drivers will also lose 15 minutes of practice time next weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

All five of those cars were able to pass on their third attempt through the line. As a result, they will be able to take to the track for qualifying.
