TV schedule and info for the 2020 Busch Clash

The Daytona 500 is the superbowl of racing. It will run on February 16, 2020. However, there’s three NASCAR races between now and then.

18 drivers are entered for the 2020 Busch Clash at Daytona International Speedway. It’s officially the first race of the 2020 NASCAR season.

The Clash at Daytona is a non-points event. Drivers will run 75 laps around the 2.5-mile superspeedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Qualified but will not compete:

Daniel Suarez and Daniel Hemric each qualified for the 2020 Busch Clash. Each of them earned NASCAR Cup Series poles in 2019. However, both are absent from the list above.

Suarez has made the switch from Stewart-Haas Racing to Gaunt Brothers Racing. The team stated the would not be entered in the event.

Hemric competed full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series last season with Richard Childress Racing. However, for 2020, he has moved down to compete full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and doesn’t have a Cup ride for the Busch Clash.
