All-Tech Raceway Results: February 9, 2020 (Lucas Late Models)

Hudson O’Neal is not in attendance tonight. The MasterSbilt driver was injured his knee in a crash last night at East Bay Raceway. The doctor did not clear him to race tonight.

Race Report

Tim McCreadie and Devin Moran set the front row for tonight’s main event. They exit the pit gate and lead the field to the fast half mile dirt track.

Josh Richards, Jimmy Owens, Shanon Buckingham and Charles Powell all take provisionals.

The field lines up in a four wide salute for the Florida dirt racing fans.

50 laps of dirt late model racing are up next…

Green, Moran leads into turn one. Caution, false start on Moran.

Green, McCreadie leads into turn one. Several cars stack up off turn two and the caution is back out.

Green, Moran noses agead of McCreadie into turn one. Jesse Stovall gets into the back of Flinner off two but they save it.

Jonathan Davenport pulls alongside McCreadie. Davenport takes 2nd.

Lap 3, Earl Pearson Jr is slow and the caution is out.

Green, Moran leads. Three wide for 2nd. Satterlee splits them and takes over 2nd through the middle.

Lap 9, McCreadie has run down Satterlee. He has a run off turn two but cant clear him into turn three.

McCreadie wins the race to the bottom in turn one. Satterlee forfeits the bottom and spins the tires through the slick. McCreadie to 2nd.

Lap 16, Stormy Scott is slow and the caution is out.

Green, Moran leads. Davenport and Sheppard split McCreadie for 2nd.

Davenport has climbed quickly to the rear bumper of the leader.

Lap 19, Flinner is slow and the caution is out.

Green, Moran leads. Davenport is on his bumper.

Davenport moves to the middle in turn three. He’s at the right rear of Moran.

Davenport cuts off the banking, drives down the hill and crosses under him off turn four. It’s a race into turn one. Davenport has the prepaered line and he’s clear. That was beautiful.

Lap 24, Shanon Buckingham is around off turn two and the caution is out.

Green, Davenport leads. Sheppard wins the race to the bottom with Moran and Sheppard takes 2nd.

Lap 30, Billy Moyer Jr is into the back of Michael Page. He pushes on the rear bumper and Page is around, caution.

Green, Davenport leads. Three wide for 2nd, Marlar takes 2nd on the top.

Lap 40, Davenport leads Marlar by 10 car lengths. The leader is glued to the bottom. Marlar is working the middle and top.
